Question on growth habits

Mulberry, FL

I would like to know why some have leaves and have kept them all winter. These plants were in the ground and others right next door to them are still bare just getting claws. Others have 1-2 inches of new growth on stalks with no leaves. A few nipped back from cold some have already started new tips and leaves were they were frost bit and others that were fine still are just starting to show signs of growth. This I can't figure out anyone else have this same thing going on or is everyones like this too?

i think those are simply variations within the genus "Plumeria"

It's normal; they all have different rhythms. In my yard with appr. 300 plumeria I have some in full bloom with no leaves, some in full leaf with no blooms, and some still completely dormant.

300????!!!!???? how big is your yard???

Not big enough LOL

I have too many and am trimming or getting rid of the plants as they grow. I intend to end up with a small but outstanding collection and meanwhile the road to that is a lot of fun!
