I need some advice on pruning my hibiscus. I have over the years accumulated about 10 tropical hibiscus. I bring them in the house for the winter and they usually lose all their leaves. As spring comes along, they start to grow leaves again.
Should I do any pruning on these? One of them is just a couple of limbs, no branches. Covered with leaves all along it however.
Another one has a great big leaf on one branch and a smaller leaf on another.
I have a couple of 'trees'. One is even starting to put on blooms. I have a twisted one as well.
All look pretty good except they aren't bushy at all. Well the trees are well branched, but that's all.
If I do prune them, how much is good. I don't want to kill these, I have worked too hard to keep them going.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks Susan,
We are working hard to get it up and going again. The care pages are some of the most thorough I have seen on any of the other sites. David Franzman the previous owner and master grower was an artist with hibiscus. He really knew what he was doing when he wrote these. I talk with him 2 to 3 times a week as we are great friends. Hopefully we can make the transformation soon to the new site, as we are tweaking it now. Test after test. Happy Happy Joy Joy LOL Feel free to email of call if you need further assistance or advice. I will do my best to help you
Take Care,
Robert
