I love pink flowers and usually buy pink, blue, and purple. White too since that sets off the other colors. I love cool colors in summer too-makes the heat seem less hot. Hard to find those cool colors in summer.
Here are some photos I took a few days ago.
My pink yard
Sally that looks so warm and inviting.....I get a major case of *Zone Envy* when I see all of you gals that live in such warmer zones with all the wonderful plants in bloom in April and all those green lawns and trees...and here we northeners sit watching snowflakes fall yet...Simply Stunning Pics Sally...oooo your little dog is so cute too : )

All winter? I could just cry because mine doesn't look that good in the summer let alone winter.
Yes, she is a Shih Tzu. Winter is the best garden time for me. I love fall-spring.
Sally: I forgot to ask ... is that huge brown pot I see in your second photo one of those bubbler fountains? I think I see river rock down below, does the water fall over the sides into the rock, or does it recirculate back through the pot? That's a really nice looking one! A few years ago my DH bought me three large but different size pots at Sam's and I had him seal the hole in the largest ... he then filled it with river rock and put the second size pot on top of the rocks and put more rocks in that and then the third on the very top, and he had a pump in there and the pipe thing coming up through the top pot - filled it with water, regulated the flow of water and made me a nice fountain. Unfortunately I decided right away that it just didn't look right on our deck, so we took it apart and he re-drilled the drainage holes and now I am using them for the planters they were originally intended to be out in front of the house! ^_^
I just love that huge pot you have there!
Yes that is a BIIIIGGGGG container, a fountain that recirculates water. The water goes over the sides, hard to see in pictures. There is rock below and a very large reservoir below that and a grate to keep the rocks on top. The birds love it and HUMMERS bath in it! Adorable. I hope to get a picture sometime. They DUNK their widdle heads in!
No fair posting beautiful outside pictures! It was an unseasonable 27 degrees when I got up this morning and this spring has been cold and rainy.
Your yard does look lovely and I love your fountain. Very cute puppy to keep you company.
Oh my goodness ... 27 degrees?? We don't even have that on our coldest winter day! ^_^ Well, actually we have had that temp in the past once or twice but it is very rare!
We were 89 yesterday and today isn't getting out of the 60's! Our low tonight is predicted to be 45 ... very unusual!
