I just got 14 HUGE plants delivered. My husband thought I had bought a tree, the box was so big and heavy. $50 postage! I am thrilled with the plants. http://www.hibiscusplace.com/
Now I am waiting to hear when Robert from http://www.hypnoticblooms.net/ will send me the ones I ordered from him! I am so excited. I need more!!
A few are smaller, a few are bigger, but all are great!
WOW I just got my Martindale order!!
Everyone of them has a incredible root system. They are in 6 in. pots but because of being piled on each other in the box, the root balls now are smaller than the pots and tipping. I think I am going to move them up today to gallon cans. Some of their tops are actually big enough to even go bigger. They are top heavy.
These were ready to ship last month but I asked Matt to hold them till April.
WOW!!!
Yes Amanda, WOW!! LOL
I forgot to add that I would not hesitate to order from Matt again. I so want to go to his website to see if he has any new ones calling my name. But I am going to be so good till I get my order from Robert. I had ordered some really special ones from him too.
Did I tell you yet that I am so excited!!!
Kell - I've ordered from Matt and I am definately a lifetime customer - his plants are always so lush, huge and healthy!! What's the 1st one that you have pictured there - it's covered with buds! Something to make any hibbie lover excited because you know it'll just be a matter of days when it blooms! Be sure to post pictures!!
Kell, they are wonderful, I can't wait for mine to get here. I'm drooling over yours.
Well, I've not ever ordered from Matt (correction - not yet). But his plants look great!! Robert also has astounding plants that are always in great shape.
Someone should have warned me about hibiscus before I bought my first one. It's a habit my pocketbook can barely keep up with!
I am on the website now. How do you order these wonderful hibiscus?
I want Yoda with all my heart. LOL
Susan
=^..^=
You email Matt, the email address is listed somewhere, I think there's a page called ordering info or something along those lines and the email addy is there. There is a chance though that Yoda is sold out--he's been taking orders since Jan or Feb and I know that's a popular one. But if he doesn't have one now, I'm sure he'll have them back later in the year.
Yoda was the name of a wonderful white kitty I had way way back.
I also want Black Jack, same reason, LOL
Susan
=^..^=
Well, I emailed to see what was available and this will be my order and they are all available NOW.
I am getting
Black Jack
Yoda
June's Joy
Midnight Moon
Papermoon
Susan Schlueter
Thanks Kell for this thread!!
Susan
=^..^=
Susan, you will love them all!
Susan, your stage name is interesting . . I just have to ask if you have nine cats . . or nine kids or ... maybe nine lives?
;-)
Barry
LOL, nine cats,
also 3 dogs, 2 grown kids, 1 granddaughter, and a DH
not listed in order of importance ;-)
I may need nine lives if I don't stop buying plants.
Susan
=^..^=
What a bunch of cuties!
DH is dear husband...or occasionally other things that start with D!
Hey Susan, beautiful cats, one and all!
I ordered Nightmare and Irish spring from Martindale and am expecting them tomorrow.
I did see Yoda, but decided on Nightmare. Yes, the name was one of the deciding factors.
Barb
I got my box from Matt today! Very exciting, I'd forgotten what all I'd ordered from him, so it was like Christmas Day opening all my goodies! Everything looks great and a few have buds, so hopefully I'll have some new pics soon!
Thanks, Susan! I enjoyed seeing your cats and dogs. We have loved black and white domestic shorthairs, several of whom have been part of our family, so Furrbee is maybe my favorite . . but striped tabbies are so durable and sweet . . and I also am partial to the calicos. I can't tell much about the dogs but in the upper left looks like a Blue Heeler, which our daughter raises. INcredibly athletic they are, and need room to run, seems like.
thanks again,
Barry
