Thought I would start this new thread with 6 in flight pics I took this morning.
Hamburg Swallows (cont.)
Nice pics adel! #5 is excellent! I sure hope they chose your next boxes.
These are great Adel and I have a new respect for them as I haven't been able to catch one of the Barn Swallows....they are much too fast for me!!
dellrose.......I catch them in the view finder about 20% of the time and somewhere near in focus about %5 of the time. My recycle bin fills up rapidly. It's best if you don't try to follow them with the camera. Get out in front of them and let them fly into the view finder.

Great tip, adelbertcat. I have a couple of slow red-shouldered hawks that my clumsy fingers can't catch. I envy your action shots!
I will give it a try Adel...the following with the camera sure ain't working! Thanks for the tip!
My recycle bin fills up rapidly
Tip: hold down the shift button when deleting, and they disappear right away, without having to be deleted a second time from the recycle bin

Thanks Resin
I look forward to watching more on this thread. There were alot of swallows at the lake where I grew up. They are a hoot to watch!
Wonderful shots adel!!!

Your best shots yet!!! Way ta go.
Thanks rockminer..............just got back from the coast or I would have answered sooner.
Very nice pics adel! Have any settled in yet?
Pelle I can't tell for sure. It looks like they are still playing musical houses.
