Started snowing about 3-1/2 hours ago

beat ya jo :) I measured 1 and 1/2 feet when I waded out to the greenhouse this morning:) Still coming down in dumps. WHOOOO HOOO we need this moisture:)
Tell me you haven't received 9 inches of snow in 3 1/2 hours! I am surely glad I don't live where you do.
Edited to add: you're measuring in FEET? OMG - I would be so moving by now!

Wow: I hear this was such a surprixe to the weather office they issued the snow warning a couple hours after it started!
The dogs and I were in the back yard, Iwas trying to shovel a bit of a path- they had snowballs as big as baseballs on their tummies - I finally just put them in the shower and melted them off!
The I happened to glance out the front window and lo and behold an ex-neighbor was out with his brand new snowblower ( just had to try his new toy) and he was going around the whole block! Even came in and clear up to my house and the back gate! Wow! Now I dont have an excuse for not walking the dogs! Even my dog walker cancelled.
But yes we sure do need the moisture and this is full of it!
Well, looks like snow is finally winding down - heard it was 25 cm this am - anyone hear the final tally?
hahahaha and our screened cover for our hot tub crashed down - too much snow on the roof. My hubby shored it up, but the roof will never be the same.... Instead of a tented top, now it's permanently flattened. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh too bad it didn't break - I love to see the star/moonlight @ night & sunshine during the day. He hates the bird sh** and tree sap on the tub cover lol
