I have crocus, muscari, and daffodils blooming, and lots more buds on daffs and tulips. Now we are supposed to get mixed rain and snow on Sat. and Sun. Will this kill of all of my lovelies? Do I need to cover them? It is only supposed to get into the 30's and 40's over the weekend, no hard freezes, but I will be so disappointed if they get frostbite!

Do I need to cover my sprouted bulbs if we are to get snow?
No, no covers; they will be absolutely 100% fine. Peonies, too, will be fine, just in case you decide to start worrying about them after a trip out to the garden. :))
If you have any lilies, genus Lilium, that are up 4" or more then THOSE you can worry about. The buds are at the terminal end of the stem and will (could) freeze.

You read my mind--I did start thinking of all those little peony spears poking up, though I know they've always fared well in the past.
I didn't get my lilies planted yet; only the day lilies I planted last fall are in the ground, and they seem pretty hardy. Only concerned about all the other bulbs because I just planted about 250 last fall, and hadn't yet seen how they handled the cold!
Thanks for the reassurance!
