Holly's Ornamental Sweet Potatoes Blackies and Daylilies

Dover, PA(Zone 6b)

I promised to send someone some of my OSP when the weather warmed up. Now I can't remember who.
I also have quite a few of the common Orange Daylily (Ditch Lily)
If anyone wants them let me know.

Gita, I'll be sending your Blackies out next week it isn't you that I forgot.

Your Blackies are so pretty, is it possible for you to send me one?
I am looking this desperately.

That would be me, Miss Holly maam. I saw one in the store the other day and almost purchased it. Then I remembered that you said you would send me some. Still wanna? I can reimburse in the way of sending you something from my garden, or pay for shipping, or whatever you suggest.

I have ten people so far who are requesting Castor Beans from me. Would you like for me to add you to that list?

Oh Ruby, Yes now I remember. I knew there was someone but just couldn't remember. I'll probably be sending them out next week. I'll do a 5 day forecast on the temp tomorrow and will send them if it looks good. I'll let you know when I ship them. Thanks for reminding me. Don't worry about sending me anything right now.

Gumlla, I would be glad to send some to you but I have never sent anything international let alone plants. I'm not really sure about custom regulations. I'll have to check out the International Trading Forum and I will talk to one of my friends that does International Trading. Do you do a lot of International Trading?

Sounds great Holly and thank you so much. I will now have a couple of things to be reminded of you when I see them. The ornamental grass, reed type of thing that I got from you at the swap is doing very well, and I love it.

Will you be going to Longwood with the group?

Again, thanks.

Ruby you just reminded me I didn't start my Castor Beans yet, Bad me! Got to get right on that!
Holly I took some cuttings from my OSP tubers today. I have a lot promised to the gals at work. They are really easy to start. I noticed that my dark one Bewitched started better then my yellow-green one (can't find the tag with the name) have you noticed any difference starting between your dark and light ones?

Ruby, where did you see them? Holly, I went to your trade list to see if I had anything I could offer you for a trade. I could not find anything you wanted listed. I am so "in want" for a cutting. I bought two plants last year, ( Margarite & Blackie) and fell in love! I forgot to bring them inside and when I did remember them, they were toast. I have been looking around here but so far I have not seen them in the stores yet. What could I offer you for a trade?

Hi Wylde - Are you asking where I saw the sweet potato vine? I believe that it was either Walmart or Lowe's. It was the only one poor little fella sitting all alone in the store and not with the other plants. I hope he went to a good home.

Shirley, Yes I can send Blackies, I'll check out your have list. I really need to get a list together. That would be a good rainny day project.

I have never made a have list. I guess I should do that. I have many things I could share. I just haven't got anything potted up at the moment. I usually have stuff in pots for my garden club sales but I didn't participate yesterday and the next one will be held while we are on vacation. Should I just list stuff I have growing in abundance in my yard and see if folks want some of it or should I have it already potted before make a list? Any help would be appreciated. I have been a member for several years but haven't utilized all of the different things available.

I just found the primer for the trade list and am going to check it out.
