Please pray for our fellow Texans as they are being battered by tornadoes as we speak. I have been there 3 times and am very respectful. We are preparing our closet now.

Well, how did everyone fare? We got thru with very little damage, but some of my taller perennials were blown over. Thank God!!
Dodged a bullet. Lots of things on the ground but will probably stand back up when the sun comes out. Looks like snow under the Lady Banksia.

Big tree blown over in my neighbors yard.
Pots went everywhere... even really big heavy ones tiped over and rolled I guess all over the yard and into the hay field. About 3:30 the lights went out and the wind was going everywhere - we both stayed up and waited the alarms went off in Glenn Heights but I dont think we had more then hard wind.
Have had 4 calls asking about a tornado in DeSoto. I thought I heard the sirens sometime in the middle of the night but thought I was dreaming. Cannot confirm. Supposed to have been at Wintergreen @ I20. Grandson lives in Plano. Said trees are down, power is off and restuarant signs are in the streets.
Desoto - too close.. I am thankful your big trees are down already.

I run a shipping container depot at I-45 and Wintergreen, and we have one steel container that was blown onto an aluminum box trailer. Needless to say, the trailer is totaled. I'll probably have to have a crane come out to pick it up.
Just about 10 pots I am still looking for and most of the leaves off my brugs and such.. and the little name tags. Saddly it was my smaller stuff that I had mostly for the Wax Swap - I have pampas grass and one flowering plant but the rest are out there somewhere.
