So, i pretty much know the answer to this question, but i am in denial, so i'll ask the experts here.
My problem is (no really) i have too many tulips returning from last year. Everyone said that it was unlikely i'd get many back w/o digging them, which i didn't do.
But now i realize that the foliage coming in at the front of a bed of species tulips, crocus, and daffs has GOT to be left over from the purple and white triumphs i had there last year, because it is taller and doesn't look at all like the tardas or saxatilis. And these are going to be taller than pretty much everything behind them.
i can't move them now, right? Even to a pot? i either have to put up withthem, or take them out...
Right...
See, i know already.
sigh.

moving tulips
??? Can you share what you know? Because I don't know...
When or can I move tulips? My poor judgement has them in some really strange spots!

Well, since then those tulips bloomed and faded. i forgot i ever even posted this!
But i think you have to wait until the foliage dies back before you can do anything with them. If you cut down the leaves when they are still green, the bulb doesn't get to feed itself for next year...
