There have been a variety of veggies started in the earthboxes in the front yard. The peppers in the EBs are bigger than the ones in the regular pot, but the EB peppers are starting to act odd, the one on the left hand side anyway. Any ideas of what is happening?

What's happening to my veggies?
Looks like it got a whiff of 2-4-D. Have you used Weed and Feed or Weed_B- Gone on your lawn.
I must admit, that I did weed and feed around the beginning of March.
If I may add my opinion that in addition to the weed killer you do not have enough container mix in your EB as that cover should be snug and bulge up somewhat. I don't think you used container mix as your peppers have a very weak looking main stem. This could be caused by the wrong mix impeding the growth. Lift the cover somewhat and fill with Miracle Gro potting mix. Your roots may not have enough mix to support them and some roots may even be exposed. Meanwhile go to home depot or Lowes and purchase the short green bambo sticks that come in a package and support your peppers and your problems will be solved! But if you used potting or garden soil you will have to remove the plants and use the right stuff according to EB instructions that you should have recieved with your order? Let me know if you did not and I will relay...Oh! Forgot to ask if you used lime and what type of fertilizer?
I used 10-10-10 and dolmite lime. That was the first box I ever did. Trust me, after that one, I build the tops up crazy to put the fertilizer in and then cover it. I cramed and cramed that dirt down too., hard to believe it sunk so much. Live and learn.
When filling the EB it must be done in three steps and each time very thoroughly soaking the mix. Forgot to say "before pouring in the mix you must put some in a bucket and soak it and then pack it into the corners so the water can seep up into the mix and then start adding the mix. Usually you don't have to cram the mix just pack it firmly. The water will do the rest. What brand of mix did you use?
That last pic actually looks like a leaf miner, which I have never seen on a tomato plant. I'm guessing this is something that can happen in your zone.
Do you see any holes near the base of the stalk? They'd be pretty small, but you'd see the evidence.
T- You are so right about the soaking of the mix. I watched the 'how to' video over and over and they always put it in dry and say. 'add a little water'. Bologna, like you say, it needs one good soaking.
Will look for holes this morning. Hopefully my spray job will have done the trick. Thatnks for your help.
I use mostly jungle grow from lowes, sometimes i use MG if im out. HD is right down the street and they of course dont carry the JG.

I've been using JG for years and find it to be excellent. MG is also very good. It is vital that the soil be thoroughly soaked at time of setup.
That was my problem. I was afraid to get any moisture ( I dont know why), around the fertilizer. I working on three right now, I will give them a good soaking that the others did not have.
The fertilizer goes in last and then you just wet it and forget it.
