Anyone interested in doing a poppy seed trade-off? I will sponcer and organise the swap- everyone sends a package with at least five packets of each variety of poppy seed they are sending, and a 45 cent sase. I will take names until Sept.1 and wait until Sept.7 for all mailings to come in. Then I will organise this so everyone gets some of each variety sent- what a way to get our gardens full of the beauty of poppies of all kinds and colors next year! Let me know if you are interested!

Send a sase and a packet of at least five of each kind of poppy variety you are sending- 55 cents on the sase should be fine, or just the loose stamp (and the bubble envelope can be reused) .Label the packets, of course, with which variety of poppy seed is enclosed. You can send more than one variety as long as there are five packets minimum of that variety, or for mixtures just as many packets of the mixture as you care to send, but minimum of five. I will sort and send back the same amount of packets you sent, of the different varieties I recieve( you send 10, get 10 in return).
I am taking names on this until Sept.1 to give as many people time to get in on this as want to. Packages can be sent whenever you want prior to Sept.2.
Everyone should get their seeds by Sept.7 at the latest!

Just an update- we now have 22 people interested in this- I just knew there were many other poppy lovers out there! This is really exciting as the varieties are so diverse and us poppy lovers are getting so many different varieties all in one fell swoop! Thanks for all who signed up and a reminder that I will be taking names until Sept.1 so everyone who wants to has plenty of time to sign up!
