I am patiently waiting to see if my Thailand Giant made it thru winter. Am gonna plant all the others I have soon and hope being at the coast I can get away with leaving them out over winter and not like the climate was in Raleigh, as all ears died there.
Lavina
Love all the EEs that are pictured

They get my super-secret Little Shop of Horrors fert solution.
juliep 127, Ask LariAnn
HA HA
Gorgeous!!
I hear ya!!! Mine do ok, so I guess I don't have to worry!!! It's all in the heart!! LOL
LariAnn, Iam still planing on coming to the BIG EAR FEST. Jerry
Come-on Seymour!!
Seriously, though, since it has been in the ground, I don't have to fert it except to provide special chelated iron and manganese, along with some general purpose Miracle Gro solution about once or twice a month. I'm going to give it a fert kick this summer, though, because I'll have a little competition going with some of my other huge Ears.
If I was planting it new in the ground, I'd be putting on the professional version of Dynamite, called Nutricote, as that really does the job.
Brian's botanical is down the street!! He is calling my name. :)
Brian has seen my Ears in person. Ask him!
That is what I use!!! So, I am ok!! I would love to go to Big Ear Fest!!
Yes, I know I have talked to him. I am addicted as bad as you all!!!
Last year there were a number of folks who wanted to come to the Big Ear Fest, so I planned on gearing up for it. Unfortunately, most of them found reasons not to come, so it's going to be more like a private Big Ear get together for those who do show up. Plenty of Ears available, too, and a chance to see my newest and most spectacular hybrid Ears.
I saw something somewhere about the cost etc. Sounded great!! I think it was a thread that Jerry had. I am not sure..... I sure would like to go.
I have teacups too!! They say they are rare, but I can find them here.. So are they really rare????Anyone know...
juliep127, On ebay a lot of plants are called RARE untill you see them at Wallyworld! Jerry
I know!!! I have to laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't buy plants from ebay!!! LOL
juliep127, If Brian was just down the street i would be down there all of the time! Jerry
I will be!! He told me to wait. So I am waiting.......He may be ready for me to come by now. That was last month. I can't wait. I spend like there is no tomorrow!!!!!!!
I'll be at the BEF so I'll be able to pick the best ones to buy.....lol
