This funny 'corona-less' flower thing also happened on an umbel of H. sp. Thai #3. Here is half the umbel OK...the other half ????

SOLVED - some critter loves the coronas on a certain family of plant: Thai #3, cv. Christine, H. rigida...probably a lizard!!!

I looked at the remains with a loop and found ragged edges....and then one corona only partially eaten. I am going to accuse the Anoles...must have a sweet tooth!!!
