CLOSED: Wanted - California Poppy

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

Does anyone have any of the gold colored California Poppy seeds available for trade? My sister had bought a package for me when she was in California in February, and I had opened it to look at the seeds . . . DH thought the little white packet was garbage . . . Anyway, I found the company online, but their shipping prices are outrageous.

Anyway, if anyone has any seeds available for trade or sase, please let me know! I have various morning glory and gourd seeds available for trade.

Please d-mail me if you are interested!

Let me check my stash and see if I have any that are just the gold. Mine might be a mix, not sure.

See Free Seeds for Postage thread from cat64129, Syrumani. California Poppies are available for SASE.

Thanks, BrightStar. I barely made the cut!

Great, I'm glad you got in that, because I am out of the California. I do have loads of the others.

I am growing poppies for the first time this year, in milkjugs. So far just one: Hungarian Breadseed poppy. They are 1 inch high.

I had wintersowed some red poppies this year. They have since fried. But, if I don't grow some gold california poppies, my sister will wonder . . . thanks again for telling me about the sase seeds!

Maybe the gold california poppies will hold up to the heat better than the red poppies. Hope so! Texas can get pretty hot in the summertime.
