I cannot keep my DG settings every time I leave

Nothing different is going on here to make me not have an automatic "get in". This has been happening for about one week and I have blamed the circumstance on everything I can think of. When I click on the "favorite" that comes from my Start menu, it goes to the DG page that has all the ads without my name recognition being there. I wonder if I erased the favorite link that I have now that goes to DG, and resaved a new one after I get in here, maybe that would work. What do you think? Does that sound workable?
