Wax begonias and madagascar periwinkle together??

San Angelo, TX(Zone 7b)

Do you think wax begonias and madagascar periwinkle (vinca rosea) can be put in the same windowbox?
The window will get afternoon sun.
Thanks

They can, of course, but since wax begonias, while touted as sun-tolerant, prefer shade during the hottest part of the day, that is, the afternoon, and periwinkles need full sun all day long, you could probably come up with better combinations. You might consider sun coleus and periwinkles.

San Angelo..........hello! I must be hunting almost in your back yard. If memory serves me correct about twenty miles or so North West of San Angelo. We really enjoy this part of Texas out there where the deer and the buffalo roam.....well almost. Have not heard of any buffalo. But low and behold....deer, turkey, pigs, turkey and if the river ever gets its water back there should be fishing too. I could live there with no problem at all. The hunting industry is certainy well developed and the head wranglers of hunters sure knows how to treat people. We love the open pit bar-b-que nights. The chefs really know how to burn a steak. I had to show them how to bake a tatter in the coals. :) Other than that they were five star for sure.
