Can I put Ivy and begonia's together inside?

San Angelo, TX(Zone 7b)

I have a rectangular planter with Ivy and wanted to add some color. I just got some begonia and wondered if I could put them together?
Or maybe- vinca?

Thanks

Sure you can plant begonias with florist ivy. I did that last year. There is one thing though about indoors - provide lots of light for the begonias. (I assume you are talking about wax begonias). My ivy is doing good indoors but the begonias are leggy, mildew affected, and weak in general. Outdoors the begonias took over.

Last summer's pictures with 3 different double blooming begonias and 3 variegated florist ivy (can hardly see the ivy because of the begonias).

Thanks. After reading up on the wax begonias, I think outside in a window box would be better?
Thanks for the info.
