My hydrangea seemed to be doing so well. Does anyone recognize what the problem is? Help! 2nd pic in answer to this question.

It might have got frostbitten before the leaves were open all the way.

It does look like environmental damage and not bug. Are all the leaves like that or just a few? Is it just on one side of the plant? What side? A very new leaf could have gotten frost or sun damage.

I bet that's it. We have had a lot of frost and hail and snow. Nothing sticking but very frosty in the mornings, and it's not a lot of leaves. I'll keep an eye on it. Thank you.
