Not asking for much just a fast growing perennial vine for shade that flowers. Any color exept yellow in zone 6.
Any ideas?
Need a fast growing perennial vine
Campsis radicans - orange blooms, and passiflora incarnata - purple and black blooms, are two that I can grow in shade, and are true to their reputation - they grow like weeds!
You got mail!!!!!!!!!!
Akebia quinata or ampelopsis brevipendunculata 'Elegans'
deed - they were my suggestions too!!! Great minds eh :-)
I have this vine and I don't know the name of it but I think it's beautiful. It is like a minature trumpet vine with little deep orange trumpet shaped blooms on it. In the very center of the bloom it is yellow down in the throat of the bloom. It grows like wild fire. The leaves are heartshaped. You are welcome to some fresh seed SASE if you'd like some. Just let me know.
Thanks, Traci S
