Veggie seeds for a 2008 tax deduction now? It's true!!

Clinton, MA(Zone 5a)

Good day to everyone,
To the forum gods or goddesses, wink-wink, this forum was selected specifically as it is for vegetables and doesn't include flowers, bedding plants, or the other wonderful but non-applicable crops. I am writing this, hoping that there may be someone in the New England/NorthEast area who may have some leftover seeds which are appropriate for this zone(s) to spare for a community garden which will be giving ALL resulting produce to a local food pantry, "Loaves and Fishes" in Ayer, MA. We are seeking corporate sponsorship for the fencing and irrigation, and I know it's late and because of that, we are not able to find seed companies with last year's seed that will donate seeds for the project. When you contact me and I receive the seeds, I will provide you with our Church's Tax Exempt [501(c)3] number (The Congregational Church of Littleton, MA is the founder and I am the development volunteer for "Church Meadow Gardens"!) and can send you a receipt to print out for a tax deduction and will include the postage as part of the donation. We are looking for any extra seeds of the following types and if you send me seeds for planting, I will forward you...I promise, digital photos proving it's authencity of use:
NOT IN ORDER OF PRIORITY:
>Beets
>Eggplant-All types
>Carrots
>Eggplants
>Pole Beans or Bush Beans-Specifically, types which are suitable for whole use as in to steam them, etc.
>Summer and Winter Squash (zucchini, Italian squash of all types, butternut, acorn, clamshell, hubbard, yellow...)
>Cucumbers-not picklers though, please as the pantry clients likely won't know what to do with them...wasted veggie)
>Bok Choi
>Pak Choi
>Spinach (Hardy and thick veined especially great!)
>Cauliflower
>Sweet and Regular Potatoes (Only if you can afford to send them to MA, any leftover small tubers with growth in
progress that you may have would be so appreciated this late in the season--I was told that potatoes produce
seeds, but I haven't seen any?)
>Onions
>Leeks
>Asparagus-for next year!
>Elephant garlic (Maximizes space but will settle for regular...garlic's great!)
>Scallions
>Onions-Bunching Types (I know them as green onions but I know they now come in different colors)
>Celery or Celeriac
>Rutabaga
>Turnip
>Parsnips!
>Cabbage (the earlier and even the dwarf varieties are great! But, we'll take whatever you can spare!)
>Brussell Sprouts
>Chard-Any variety
>Larger Variety tomatoes, even if it is a mix of types! (We love all colors and shapes!! Determinate & Indeterminate)
>Bannana Peppers (We should have plenty of bell peppers, but we'd love some purple, white, brown or a nice mix of
these is awesome!
>Mildly Hot Peppers (Green Chili or Jalapeno)

OH, AND LIKE I SAID...ITS FOR A GREAT CAUSE AND IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING LISTED ABOVE TO SEND, PLEASE CONTACT ME AT [Hyperlink: [e-mail:thorandkevin@comcast.net]] AND I WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH MY ADDRESS IMMEDIATELY! THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE...I WILL BE SURE TO POST PICTURES AND SEND SPECIAL ONES WITH THANK YOUS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPS ME BY SENDING ME SEEDS AND/OR TUBERS FROM ABOVE!!!!

And, again...this is classified as a tax deduction, so if you desire a receipt for your donation, please make sure to spell that out so you can claim that on your taxes...

Have a great day! Blessings to you and peace!

Sincerely,
Thor Montgomery [e-mail:thorandkevin@comcast.net]

Welcome Thor. I'll check (don't have much) and try to help spread the word.
