How to make a stick garden

How to make a stick garden:
First, plant bulbs along the edges of a path. Don't mark them.
Next, have the bulbs start to sprout.
Lastly, push a stick in the ground wherever you see a sprout. Right now there are about 40 sticks along one side of this path.
It looks lovely! (snort, lol)

So, are the sticks to show you where to dig to plant some other things along your path, between your clumps of bulbs?

My husband feels he has to know where everything is planted. I planted a whole slew of bulbs along the path, and when he asked me WHERE I planted them, I said (natch) Along the path!
His reasoning is that he wants to avoid having the dogs pee or walk on the sprouts.
Still, there's sticks every few inches..... Along the path! lol

He did not!!! Did not even bother him that you threatened to post pictures huh?

Nope! Well, I told him I was going to take pictures, I didn't exactly tell him I was going to post them!
He just keeps planting sticks everywhere.

LOL - be careful what kind of stick he plants, it may root :) My problem is whenever I label something the squirrels decide to drag the label about a foot or so away - in any general direction...

THat is just oo funny. Maybe you should go and buy the kind of sticks you want to grow!

LOL... a little hedge of nice thornless blackberries would be great along that path!
