Reading the trading list makes my brain HURT!

Sugar Land, TX

Maybe it's because I don't remember all of your names yet, but who's who, who's giving what, who's got what, who wants what is making my head spin reading it! LOL

I'll bring some stuff.
I would like anything that looks good in a cottage garden if you have anything for a new member. Thank you.

I'll bring lots of food.

See ya' there! I can't wait to meet you.

Laissez les bons temps rouler!

By the way, I'm the short, pudgy, dark-haired 50 year old grandma! hehe

Jo, which swap are you going to, College Station? or Waxahachi?

Sugar Land, TX

College Station. I'm in Sugar Land. Will you be there?

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes I plant to go to both, it is a lot of fun. Check my list and see if there is anything you can use.

The lists can get crazy for all of us...so don't worry. I am sure we all will have extras at the swap. Not sure what all goes into a cottage garden, but I've got lots of pink poppy seedlings coming up if you would like some. And some zebrina hollyhocks.

Sugar Land, TX

Blue eyes, those poppys and hollyhocks would go great in a cottage garden! Those will bloom next year, right?

Thanks very much!

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

They both reseed freely, the hollyhocks are seedlings popping up in my garden now. The poppies I just threw the seeds out and they are coming up all over!

I sure hope there's not that much difference between zone 8 and 9. LOL When I lived in England years ago, I just fell in love with hollyhocks and delphiniums in the English garden. I always thought they'd wilt here, so I never even tried planting them!

Deep East Texas, TX(Zone 8a)

The zebrina hollyhock is different... known as the french hollyhock and it seems to do well in the warm...

I just did a plant search. Lovely flower, and the plant would add some variety to what I have.

I would love some seeds or seedlings if you have some to spare.

Since I don't have much to trade, I'll bring lots of food! :)

Kim, Poppies don't transplant well. Try to take a scoop of dirt intact around the root, then it might work.
Jo, I won't be at the CS swap; but welcome to the DG family. Maybe I will get down south later on and meet you at another swap.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Well....I'll give it a try and bring some seeds if it doesn't work.
