Bush Bean Newbie Question

This will be my first year growing bush beans. I have a wax variety and a green variety. Just have a quick question for the more "well versed" folks.
Does any one use any type of trellis or cage for the bush beans, or do they support themselves well enough that they do not require any extra help?

ben - as far as i know you don't need support but i am sure there are others out there with more pratical experience.
