For anyone interested I have Popcorn Cassia- Senna didymobotrya http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/53628/ for SASE or trade.
It's says it grows in zone 10a and up, but I don't have any problems in my zone. I'll try to go out and take a picture tomorrow. I don't think the pictures on here do it justice. They are either young, close ups, or in one case I think one that had been mowed down when it was young.
Anyhow I am in the address exchange, if you are not send me a d-mail. Send any kind of envelope you want (bubble or standard) with two stamps posted on it (in the case of a bubble mailer, two stamps inside). Two stamps and a buck and I'll send the seeds in a bubble mailer of my own, and $2 I will take care of the postage and mailer. Whatever works for you.
Amanda

HomersMom and Imzadi, Your seeds are sent!
thank you will let you know when arrive
Thank you!!
Would love to give it a try in my garden if you have any left.
I still have plenty to share bobyrd
Looks lovely...I'd love to try some. If you have extra, would you please set some aside for me and my mom? Would you like some Wisteria Seed and/or a few Yucca seeds?
I saved only my Yucca seeds last year, so Wisteria would be from mom. Funny...I saved seed for years from my plants, but in the last 3 years or so, I just got too busy. Now I wished I'd saved seed last year.
It might be a couple of weeks before I see mom to get the Wisteria...would that be okay if I wait to send the SASE bubble to you then?
Thanks!

Okay okay, I have looked all over the internet to find how deep to sow these little suckers. I found sites saying to soak over night in warm water, sites for temperature (64-70*F seems to be best), a few sites that sell them and expensively to boot at $2.50 for 10 seeds (which is way too much!). Found that yes you can grow them in pots! Anyway, the little bit of info I found is suggesting 1cm, so shoot for more then 1/4 inch and less then 1/2 inch.
Heres an article I found on Popcorn Cassia though http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/at_home/story.html?id=73bcaa4b-ebba-4c0b-b690-5d3b7bc452d1
April I'm sending a d-mail
Thank you for the article, now I know I need to move my chocolete plant from the planter I have it in to a smaller one for the porch and I can grow these and move them in my house in the winter. Susan
I know I just closed the thread, but anyone who is expecting seeds they are coming, even if you sent mail yesterday. I just don't want to forget to close the thread.
