KBS- Kurpark Bad Salzschlirf

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

This is another great brugmansia for the grower in high heat zones. KBS is very hardy in the hotter climates. The color can vary from pure white to an apricot color. These blossoms here will probably mature to an apricot once they have finished maturing. It isn't a bug magnet but like many brugmansias the caterpillars need to be kept in check. It does have a nice fragrance and stays open during the daytime hours even when it's hot outside. Definitely recommended for the newcomer who wants something different that isn't pink in their garden.

Amazing photo! I really like how the spots of light come through the leaves in the background, it gives the impression of stars :)

Thanks for sharing this info Gary. I always like to know which brugs stand up well in the heat as it gets hotter than heck here in the summer. I'll have to put this one on my want list.
