I can't believe how big your babies are getting!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

The turtles got really big. Any baby turtles in their future?

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

All very cool, Kassia. I am looking forward to meeting Lily and the pretty turtles. I love the striped neck on Nestle!

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

yes Laura... Nurse Turtle is wearing a uniform... she is cute...and very soft!

NO BABIES... I hope... they are in separate containers... Nestle bites Cocoa any chance she has it... so they are not together...

Lilly is a very nice dog... really blind but very nice...

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

All very cute Kassia. Little rose is quite adorable and you know what they say....a rose is a rose is a rose. Thanks for the pics of the four legged creatures too. :)

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

my pleasure...

Hi Kassia- i have never seen such a sweet teeeeneee weeeennee little rose. You have patience and appreciation for these things, I can tell! Love the picture of Nestle peeking over the top..her (his?) neck all stretched.. such an expression! thanks for the pictures, and reminders of smaller beings... Sarah

ahh kassia , im with you minis and micros. They are so precious. I wish mark would let me have turtles. I just love them so. Are you still going to build the outdoor area for them this summer? Whats the second micro you have there the peach one?

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

Hi Steph!!!! yes, I am building a miniature garden for them... and some of the minis will be planted in that garden ! and some will be in pots so I can bring them inside!

Nestle is a she!!!! and yes, she loves to climb out of the water... last week I came home and she was nowhere to be found... she just climb right out, fell about 4 feet and just hide under my bed... the thing is she didn't suffer a thing... she fell right on the blue chair Nurse Turtle is seated, then she fell right on the carpet... it was so funny..

Steph they require some work, but they are so cute!!!

My garden decorations are not frogs... turtles all over!!!!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Kass - what kind of pot do you put your minis in?

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

I usually use plastic... I am too cheap to pay for really expensive pots... lol...

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Many plants do better in the plastic pots down here. I was told to re-pot my desert rose in a plastic pot.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hold the water better.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Ayup!

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

oh even better!

Assonet, MA(Zone 6b)

Good Morning Kassia. Have a wonderfull Birthday filled with flowers and fantasy. :)

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

i am sorry i missed this post.... great photos

I am learning most people like their veggies in peat pots but some don't like peat pots. Plastic needs less water. The GH is almost full. I started to seed April 20th. Veggie side is full.

Flower side I have room for 4 flats unless I take out the potting bench.

Now Victor this one is for you. I planted these the same day. Lupine 6" tall.

That's so cute, Kassia!

Though not a rose, this is a mini I got from Evermay Nurseries in Maine. It's a Potentilla, neumanniana 'Orange Flame' (even though it's golden). Here's my pic:

And here's what it really looks like (from Google). I'm hoping to get a new camera for Mo's Day!

Sherrie, I'm impressed! Good job! Now, maybe a camera AND a greenhouse for Mo's Day!!!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I will take that too!

I would just like to say - you think you want a GH, its fun but its a ton of work. You have to babysit the dang thing. You cant just walk away when it gets hot, unless it is totally open with the fans on, then you might get away for an hour or two. You have to be the Eye Spy.

Unlike last year so far Kervorkein has not struck, I have grown more then murdered. Learned a lot this year (thanks to all of you) and still chuggin away. Now I am going to literally chug. On a Michelobe Light. I am DONE till Saturday :-) Thank God.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Sherrie. Yes GH's are a lot of work, unless you spend lots of $$ on an automated system. Even then, they require a lot of attention.
