Lake in Salem Oregon

There is a lake in Salem Oregon across the street from Costco and right in front of another big store, Lowes I think. What is the name of this lake?

Someone tried to tell me that it is a new lake and that it "sprang up" when they were digging the foundation for the big store nearby - the one I can't remember the name of. I've tried googling it and looked at Google Earth but there is no name on it. The attached photo is a screen capture of Google Earth.

Anyone know and was I being fooled?

Hi, my DD used to live in Salem, she says that isn't a lake it's a retention pond from the over flow of Walter Wirth Lake behind Lowe's and Wal-Mart. It's actually bigger than the lake and being in the valley it is quite possible that it just sprang up, it doesn't have a name. DD says it's just nasty.

Yes, it's just a retention pond. I know the one you are talking about. Used to pass it each and every time we went to Willamette.
