Lemon Meringue - New Triple Yellow/White!! Bi-Color

This is a new one from Brenda Delph at Seedsprout Nursery. Big beautiful triple white with a yellow core. I still can't smell so I can't give you an honest sniffer report.
The blooms are large and fluffy. The color contrast is striking. I personally like my doubles with stuffed skirts while many others prefer full separation of the skirts. Lemon Meringue delivers both!
Of course I have collected pollen and I'm off to hit some blossoms!

Brenda, i really think you have a winner here!! I know I love it!!

What a shape! I think this is the most unique brug bloom ive seen. It reminds me a little of an egg with the yellow and white coloring! Good job on this one and good luck with the pollen!

I wasn't sure just how she would finish up. This morning she unfolded that inner core to reveal a gorgeous fluffy light yellow interior. This is not the best picture because I have already manhandled the blossom, cutting into it for pollen extraction and to pollinate the stamen. This just gives you an idea how pretty this triple skirted blossom is.

such a serious looker a tree with 100's of blooms will be...you'll need insurance with it.. something so georgeous will cause accidents...

Gee it is wonderful ...what a pity no one could give it a sniff and tell us what sort of fragrance it has ...citrus would be a masterstroke but whatever it's perfume it is a winner for sure!

I really love the shape of that one. Do you know who the parents are? The flower shape looks a little like the miss behavin or naughty nick with the little first top skirt.

I see that this one is up on ebay. This is a really special brug. Mine has grown so fast it's amazing. I just love these blooms too!

I think that is the prettiest White I have ever seen. Are there many Bi-Colors out there?

Mine had thumb size buds and dropped them when the weather went from steeming hot to very cold. Hope it loads up again.

I just got this one for my moon garden. It even came with buds on it. A great healthy plant. I hope the buds stay on , I am really looking forward to seeing it.

One of the buds fell off of mine due to heavy wind and I opened it and it was a quadruple! There are still more buds left. Can't wait for em to open :)

My first Lemon Meringue bud is starting to open. I cant wait to see it. I just got this and it came with three buds on it!! I knocked one bud off accidently, but am impatiently waiting. When I saw yours, I just had to have it.

rylaff, your blooms looks pretty yellow, already! Keep the pics coming.

Mine just keeps dropping her buds. I have had 15 buds drop off when they get to about 4 inches.
