Thank you, I'm glad you like this photo. I am using a Nikon Coolpix 8700. I bought this specifically because it does a nice job with macros.

Not actually petals, these are leaves. The little 'bubbles' on the leaves are droplets of glue on the leaf glands of this Butterwort. This is how it catches bugs.

No, this was taken in a light tent using daylight color (6500 K) fluorescent. Then it was further color-corrected in PhotoShop.

That's very interesting...what is the manufacturer of the light tent? I would like to research more on the web. Thanks!
