I checked out your link to the Cornell Bird Magazine, but the articles are all printed to tiny to read. for the life of me I could not figure out any away to enlarge them so ai could read.
Now, I'm not very computer savvy, so if you are aware of any trics to enlarge those articles, I would still surely enjoy reading them.
Where do you find all these neat little nuggets of wisdom and beauty that you share?

If you click on any of the articles, at the top is usually a very small version of the article (image) - but below is the text content of the page. Along with a control panel allowing you to increase, or decrease the size of the text (as well as going to a text only version which can be controlled with the usual text size controls of your browser).

Yup. In most web browsers there is a "view" pull down menu. From there you usually can find a "text size" item.
