Does anyone have seeds for these? Can trade for some big yellow giants.

They'd be yours if I had them -- sorry. I'm just posting to suggest you might have more luck with this request on the seed trading forum... there are some sunflower collectors over there, but I'm not sure how many are also herb nuts! :-)

Thanks! Yes, I sort of thought after I hit "send" that I should have posted on the seed trading thread and I am going to do that now. I never go over there really, but I think I better start!

I saw some in a catalog today called "Infrared." I could have sworn they were "Autumn Beauty," or so close to it but wasn't sure. Sometimes I think there are just name changes and not new varieities. So many kinds of sunflowers!!

I grew "Autumn Beauty" one year and they were absolutely beautiful!! I have old pictures somehwere. They branched like an octopus and produced flowers upon flowers. Cut one and you got 3 more new ones. Then, a hurricane hit and they were leveled.

Wal-Mart??? Okay, I don't think we have one nearby but I'll check.

I've queried the Seed Trading Lists and found a bunch of folks are trading this type of sunflower, so I am checking out the possibility of a trade, just for fun.
