Theme - Terri - Tulip Time
Just lovely Terri the colors are just superb! What is the container? So type of gourd? The yellows almost look like wax they are so sharp.
I so want to do this one, but alas no tulips here as yet and I stopped at the grocery yesterday and they want $5 for just a measly 4 of them so still have my thinking cap on for this one.
Some"thymes" you just have to be innovative LOL! Like I said no tulips in the garden but I always have "thyme" for a joke in April!
I have a great idea for this theme, but must wait to get the tulips so in the mean"time" here are my interpretations.
First my tulip bowl and time! LOL
And here is a thrown together tulip bowl with daffs and a bit of my reiter thyme almost too tiny to deal with.
Guess dave is no longer doing auto downsize as these are coming up huge, here it is again.

My container was a honeydew melon hollowed out, it was an arrangement for another theme chosen by Adele using fruit and flowers. Just thought I would use it for this tulip thread to start us off.
Maybe we should have another theme going until we are ready for tulip time?!!
No, this is fine, I still have an idea, I just need to get the tulips. I just wanted to get something together cause the thread was so quiet!

Well, you have a lovely stash of tulips there Terri, that is great "eye candy"! I found some tulips at our supermarket the other day, they wanted $12 for 6 of them and I just could not bring myself to take them. I'll find some somewhere.

Hi Candee, That is alot, about £6.oo for 6, wow! £1.oo each. I paid £7.50 for 30 and I thought that was quite expensive. no wonder this thread is quiet!!!!!!!!!
LOL, I am sure it will awaken very soon, we are so close with them popping up in the gardens here the price should come down soon and I still have my idea!
Finally got some tulips so here you have it! I like my tulips with the fringe on top!

LOL, you always ask the ones I don't know, that was left over from an earlier arrangement, you recall the stuff I got from the grocery store for the urn arrangements. If we find out what it is, we need to get some cause it lasts forever ^_^
