Wanted: Leopard, lungwort,Pyracantha

Mableton, GA(Zone 7a)

Last year I bought 3 plants that I just HAD to have. Then all three DIED. It was when we went to a NO outside watering ban due to our sever drought. They were:

Leopard plant - Highly spotted
Pyracantha - almost totally silver
Lungwort - very silvery spotty

Are these to "special" for a common trade? Do they root from cuttings?

hi
i have 3 different kinds of lung wort, spotted with drk. blue, pink and one plain green leaves with a pastel blue/pink color. where did you plant them? lungowrts like partial shade, i have stuck mine half way under a rhodie and its doing great. its huge! i dont have the other two though. if your still interested i might be able to get you a little off shoot fo each of these...(hopefully)
happy planting!

That one is beautiful! I'd love a bit it you find an off-shoot. That is very kind. Would you like any baby hellebores?
I had these in mostly shade. Maybe it was too much shade? But I really think it happened when we went to a total water ban for the last couple summer months.

hi..
that would be nice. i looked it up and helleborus is zone 8+ so i will have to keep it in a pot and bring it in out of the winter cold, im 7-8 so could be iffy but thats ok!) but that would be nice. i will check (as soon as its stops raining) and see if i have any off shoots yet and let you know!

I'm 7b and they THRIVE to say the least. They are evergreen and every seed that hits the ground germinates. They are in shade, but not deep shade. Are you worrying about your winter in zone 8a? There is no way that would hurt them.
Where did you get that info. ?
Is it on DG like that?
I'm going to look.

They are VERY tough plants. I will definately send you some. D-mail me your address.

There are hellebores that are hardy to zone 4. So it really depends on the cultiver.
