I desperately want to try passionflower this year, for the Gulf Fritillary butterflies. A nice DG'er sent me seeds last year, and I planted a few outside, and have more in flats indoors. So far I've had no luck, except POSSIBLY with one outside (not counting the tiny seedling the bluebirds kicked up hunting for mealyworms). It looks a little too much like a sunflower seedling though, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up! There's another seedling nearby with more pointed leaves. Both have only their first set of leaves. I know I should just be patient, but that's not one of my virtues! Does anyone have a photo of what a passionflower seedling should look like??? Thanks!!

Thanks ya'll!!!!! Mine hasn't gotten viney yet, but it does look quite a bit like some of the other seedling photos!!! We just went away for a few days and it's grown a bit (and something also must've tried to get at it too, there's some digging near it) so I haven't lost it yet!!! I'm really hoping I'll have a nice plant for my butterflies; I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!
