Gardenpalooza!

Wilsonville, OR(Zone 8b)

Hi all,

I just thought I'd mention Fir Point Farms annual Gardenpalooza is happening Saturday, April 5th, 2008 8AM to 4PM.

This is a one day Garden & Farm Festival with 40 local nurseries participating.

For more info, see these links:

I am going to be there!

Hi Boel, Yes, it's on our PNW calendar.

Are you going to have a booth or just be attending? Looks like there are some really good vendors. I was very interested to notice that Mak Lilies was going to have a booth-as far as I know, they don't often do retail, and they have very nice lilies. I've got one of Oh Growup's peony cages and just love it.

This looks awesome. Ditto to Sue's question, Boel. Are you going to have a booth?

Sue - do you know if these cages are carried by anyplace in particular?
When I googled, the website won't display.
The cached info indicated they are sold at the Vancouver Farmer's market.

I love the name - Oh Growup . . .

Hi,

Ah, I did not know it was on the calendar... where is said calendar?

No, I will not have a booth, just be there to enjoy the offerings :)

Hi EP, We've got a new sticky thread started by Rachel that has a link to a web calendar that has listings of all sorts of PNW events. It would be neat to add more Oregon things-if you hear of anything, you can post it there, but we're not supposed to chat over there.

Katye, Oh Growup is pretty local. They're usually at the Clark Co events at the fairgrounds, and are at the Vanc. farmer's market most weeks, and other events, too, but I'm not sure which ones. Do you want me to take a picture of my peony cage for you? (When it's not pouring, which is what it's doing right now....)

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

Yes, Boel, it would be so great to have more Oregon events there. There's no limit to what's supposed to go on there - it would just be great to have more EWA and Oregon and Idaho events on there for our membership that lives there.

And Sue, thank you so much for getting so many events on there to begin with!!

Hi Sue - no need to take pic if you can describe it.
It has been snowing here - lightly, but mixed with ice pellets, thunder & lightening. I suppose this is what you were talking about earlier.
