I contacted them by email 2 times, 3 wks ago then 2 wks ago. Asking them for recommendations on plumeria I wanted to buy. Anyone know why they wouldn't respond? :-(
I used the email contact info that was on their website. Also, anyone know what is the normal tip amounts on cuttings? Do they usually supply 1 tip?

Also, anyone have any idea what name this plumeria might be?

Forida colors question
I just rec'd an order from them a few weeks ago and I found them to be very responsive beforehand. They even held my order for me and shipped right on time. Clare or others might have some ideas why they haven't responded - might be a very busy time for them right now - but I'd try again.
Thanks Kaperc. I tried the first time about 3 wks ago, then the 2nd time about 1 wks ago. I figured either they are not getting the email or something? I would hate to think they don't want to respond :-(
Maureen, I suggest you pick up the phone; This is one of the busiest times of year for them and they don't always get around to email; there are only the two of them running the place. You will also get much more advice on varieties etc. that way.
They generally will sell grafted plants rather than cuttings (for a very small extra amount) and I recommend those strongly. Most of their plants will be single tips but I have come home with triples, and if you ask for those they will always try and accomodate you.
HI Dutchlady. I was hoping you would chime in:-) Thank you very much for this info. And also for the info on the grafted, I see they are only $5 more than the non-grafted.
Thanks
Maureen
Yes Maureen, she is right. it is a very busy time now and they (Luc and Carol) are actually planning an event right now so i am sure they are busy. Other than the fact we are all coming out of winter (well here in Florida winter is done). Give them a call at 1-800-527-8308 and I am sure you will get either one of them.
Chris
HI Chris, thank for the info. I was just in Florida for Easter - visiting my mother in Pompano Beach. I LOVE Florida!!!
Hetty is right. A phone call is a much better way to reach them. Their email system sometimes has problems because of the volume of email that they get. I think they might still be on dial-up too! It is just the two of them, as Hetty said, running one of the largest plumeria nurseries in the country so just give them a call;-)
That's a beautiful flower. Putting a name to a flower from a picture is a very difficult thing to do with any certainty so most informed plumie people won't guess because the preservation of names is so important. Additionally, it is difficult for flowers to have their true colors and true size right now due to the season and lack of heat. It is a beautiful flower though;-)
Hi Clare. How are you? Thanks for the info. I agree with preserving the names. Someone told me it "looks" like Jeanne Moragne. So, for the sake of looking as pretty as the one I took a pic of, I'm going to try a Jeanne Moragne this summer.
I just bought a Kauker wilder and I have a bid on a white one, something like Simoan fluff ?? I can't wait to see if I win the 2nd one.
Hi Maureen! I'm good and hope you are too! Yeah, it does have some Jeannie Moragne traits, but the colors are lighter, but color will be lighter this time of year. Jeannie is a pretty unmistakable flower, especially due to it's large flower size. Kauka Wilder is an awesome flower, and Samoan Fluff is fantastic too, and both have a nice fragrance. I'm sure you will like both of them.
