The "other" Farmer's Almanac website also has a Best Days section, and has its own Gardening by the Moon page. Here's the link:

cool, thank you Sue, I printed out the info.

Millersburg, PA(Zone 6b)

We have a beautiful almost full moon tonight. So much rain and clouds up here in Pa. for the past two weeks you wouldn't believe it. I know I have emptied that rain gage three or four times this week alone. Yesterday , overnight and this morning and afternoon added another 1/2".

May is the Flower moon - according to my almanac. (Tomorrow). I have columbines 3 ft. high, in bud but not bloom. And the bluegreen dianthus chock full of buds, ready to bloom.
We even planted out a doz tomatoes.
Hope it wasn't too soon as that ole' full moon often brings a frost.

I picked, cleaned, chopped and froze over a gallon of the dwarf curly parsley today. I saw parsley priced at $1.99 at the supermarket for a medium sized bunch. Shucks, I paid $1.79 for the seeds a month or so ago and thought - gosh they are expensive.

I only grow it every two years and have enough stored to last. It comes up the 2nd year but quickly goes to seed. Folks say to scatter the seeds in situ and you will have parsley forever. But then again, next year I might want to grow the flat leaved Italian parsley again - it is good too - just gets much bigger.

Happy moon-ing!
