Removing programs question

I have been removing un-used programs lately.
Control panel/add or remove programs, that way.

Since I have been doing so much scanning lately I find myself watching the scanning process. I have noticed some things being scanned that I had removed, for example, I noticed it scan Panda Titanium, which I removed over a year ago.

My question is, is there some place else I should be removing these things from??
