I was waiting in an office the other day and came across this recipe, making it tonight for supper, it does sound delicious though
I neglected to write down the name of the dish
1 rotisarie chicken pulled off the bones, ( I left the legs/thighs in tact and wings too.) big chuncks of the chicken breast.
1 8 oz package wide egg noodles prepared to package directions
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp thyme leaves
l/2 tsp sale
1 tsp pepper
1 onion chopped
l 6 oz mushrooms chopped, Iused the baby portabella mushrooms
(fresh mushrooms)
3 tbsp butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup white wine optional I used it
2 tbsp parsley
1 cup milk
stir together all spices and set aside (dry spices)
melt butter in lg skillet
add onion, mushroom and garlic, saute till soft, add spices, add soup, milk, and wine, simmer, put chicken pieces on top of mixture, spoon gravy over the chicken, sprinkle parsley over the top let simmer for about l0 minutes. serve over noodles.
Yum!!
