brugmansia sanguinea or brugmansia x flava??
Thanks kimarj ! I will try the plant files to see if it is right.
I think its the sanguinea. Thanks for your help on the id. How about those darn bugs!
Try NEEM oil or Palmolive...a few drops in water and spray the plant well. Gordon I am a newbie
someone will come along with great info about those dern mites.
Every one of us was a newbie! All of us are still when you get some plant you have never had before, or just have one or two of a genus. Daphnes are a good example of whats good for one ain't good for anouther. And this is one plant I want to do right by. So thank you for the info kimarj!! I herby promote you to novice collector!!! LOL ;-)

Hey Gordon, hello from another PNW'er. I'm up in Marysville only about 20 minutes north of you. You'll have to come over this spring if we do another garden party for brug nuts, although we might expect you to perform the Brugmansia Rap for us.
Best thing for those mites is to get the plant outside where the humidity is higher & the bugs can't thrive, as long as you keep watering the leaves well (especially under the leaves). I think I'll put my sangs outside in about a week, starting them out with overhead cover close to the house until at least April 15.

Hey gthumb! Just was up there visiting covoajuno who lives in Marysville also. Nice lady with a huge collection of dallilies. I got a neem oil and sprayed my pink frosty and the next day all but one leaf fell off! Threw that crap away. OH yeah, no more bugs! No leaves to eat! lol Thank god I didn't do them all! That pink has been nothing but trouble!! I would love to come up some time! Dmail me and we can figure out when. I need a brug person that is close and can help me with these things! Way out of my zone!!
