I was surfing through the channels last night and came across the reality show "Living with the Kardashians". A wealthy Hollywood family with Bruce Jenner as the dad. Anyways, the mom decides to get some ckickens so they can all be healthy and eat fresh eggs. She goes and buys some chickens and picks out the "pretty" ones, brings them home and of course has NO knowledge of what to do with them after that. The chickens were chased around by screaming family members and ended up in the tub. In the end they got rid of them. It really made me mad and felt the poor birds were abused by a family who thought having chickens was SOOO trendy.
Chickens are trendy?
what a terrible show, i would be mad too!
That was a TV show? Oh my they need to get better writers, that is just sad. And I agree....terrible.
I agree, but you know, that could be true. We acquired quite a few chickens a few years ago because people got them and didn't know how to care for them or they were too lazy to do it right. They called us and asked us to take them. All together I think we got about 20 full grown hens that way and look for that to happen again this year as Tractor Supply has day-olds live near here.
