I'm looking for Nothofagus Antarctica for my home in Nova Scotia. I understand it might be available in Newfoundland, but I also understand you can't transplant plants from Newfoundland ...does anyone know good sources for saplings?

Something tells me that it won't be hardy enough for Nova Scotia unless grown from a selected provinence with good cold hardiness. There seems to be a few sources in BC but I haven't heard of it grown east of here.
I've been interested in this species too. Try B&T World Seeds; they list it, but you'd probably actually have to contact them to find out if it is available.
