Sorry, I don't have them Amos. I know that Swallowtail has the seed in the blue and in the red.

What do you like about the blue?....just wondered if it is the way they begin as the blue when first opened, then fade to light purple and end by closing up as pink? Isn't Mother Nature a wonder?

I love the mg's. I guess my favorite must be Heavenly Blue...maybe followed closely by Grandpa Otts.

Hope you find some seed.

Different angle but sure looks like it.
How beautiful is that now?
Do you know where I can get the seed?
Thank you for helping me

Amos it's called blue picotee. It's not rare. What is rare is that you will actually get a flower that looks like that from your vine. Usually you will only get a handful of flowers that will look like that or ones that arent quite doubled but have what looks like an extra petal .. the rest come out as picoteed singles.

You can find them on ebay .. they can be listed as Blue Picotee MG or Double Blue Picotee MG. Choose a sellar that shows a picture of the singles as well as the doubles.

LouisianaMark is offering them as well:

Hi Amos,

Yes I still have some, and a quite a few other things as well. Just d-mail me if you want some. I never really get a lot of doubles with them, but they are still a nice LSU purple!

While the flowers on my morning glory were about half single they were still beautiful.
The ones I grew were bluer than the package photo.
I purchased them off the rack at a store (wish I could remember what store),from Livingston seed co.

Well, GG, that is such a pretty morning glory :) I bought my pkgs. at a local nursery last summer, and I only got the single flowers, but so pretty, and delicate looking!
