Need help designing a waterfall
If you wanted to you could make a small holding pool in one of the corners and have a spillway for a dramatic waterfall or have a trickle stream. Either one would look great and you would have the sound of water. Also, misquitos do not like moving water so it will cut down on that problem as well.
Thank you all for your ideas.... still playing things around in my head. Maybe I should just go start moving them for real, and it will all play out?!
Bev, how do you keep the water from splashing out of the pond? I like the look of the water falling over the rocks, but I dont want to be constantly refilling the pond :o)
Do you put plastic liner under all the rocks and slope it towards the pond?
I have liner under the bottom rocks and then draped over into the pond with a heavy rock holding it down on the bottom of the pond. BEV
yeah,... I'm starting to see this in my mind now! I dont know why I ws so stuck! I can usually be really creative.
Bev you have helped my creativity block immensely.... gonna go play in the dirt now! I'll post pictures of my progress.
