Wow James, great looking plants, wish they had flea markets like that up here. What did you give for them, if you don't mind my asking.

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Wow what a score!!

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Yeah, no kidding! We have a flea market/outdoor market in Winnie, Texas where I went to pick up some hibiscus that I'd ordered from Robert earlier this month and I saw 2 sellers/growers there with Brugs. I could NOT stop because my hubby had no idea where I was and if I spent another dime, he'd know!! He still hasn't noticed the 3 new hibiscus that I bought! HA!! We wives are bad! But I'm thinking about making a secret stash for my next trip ... hee hee hee!

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

LOL!!

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

Not to bad as far as pricing......I was impressed with them..James

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

That's good!! It's always nice to find good Brug sellers.

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Good, Keep going back and you may find more.

Cave Creek, AZ

I can't belive what you found at a flee market. All we have are tomatoes and flees here.
Mickey

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

yeah it is nice to find that if for sure.............James

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

Kansasville, WI(Zone 5a)

Mickey do you mean fleas? Like on a dog flea? LOL

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

James purchased these from us(Country Garden). We set up at a local market on Saturdays when we aren't at the local shows or a plant swap. The schedule is on our home page.I did ask James not to post his prices. They are less than the website or Ebay as there isn't any packing or shipping involved.

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Holy Cow! Is this the flea market in between Pensacola and Fort Walton? If so, I guess I am taking a road trip next Saturday.

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

Hey JT,

Thanks so much for selling me those plants I am so happy to have met you!!

James

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

pensacola, FL(Zone 8a)

Carol

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Me either. And I need a couple more.

Kansasville, WI(Zone 5a)

Nice looking plants. My road trip would take 3 days.

Brigham City, UT(Zone 5b)

Fantastic James. I just cleaned my gardens up, no brugs to be found outside - way to cold. Still jealous of your climate, not of your bugs though.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

crazy4brugs writes "Nice looking plants. My road trip would take 3 days."
But think of the other benefits...you would get to visit sunny Florida and it's beaches.
Besides,we need the tourists.Otherwise the sharks and alligators may start eating the locals.

Kansasville, WI(Zone 5a)

ROTFL. Beaches, SUN and WARMTH oh I do need a vacation. But the sharks will be my dinner and the gators on my feet. I could also tour the gardens and smell the flowers!

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Thanks gone2seed for mentioning the price thing. I didn't know it was from you or I wouldn't have asked. Just trying to get a few comparisons for the upcoming season.

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh you lucky duck James! That is absolutely awesome! Vacation? what is that? LOL
What a dreamy weekend trip that would be! I couldn't do it cause I wouldn't come home.

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

yeah zz it is really nice to have a good brug dealer at the flea market........James

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

This just keeps getting better. I know James bought some Brugs that did not turn out to be what they were advertised as. Now he has come up with some Brugs from a Flea Market and I am thinking here it goes again. Now that we know that he bought them from JT, it's all good.

kenboy

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Ken,you should check into local markets if you haven't already.Fully half our plants are sold that way.No postage,no packing and no gorilla stomping by the post office.
Last year we sold only by color. This year, since we had more for sale,we decided to sell by variety. This is also a chance to promote the website and the brug societies. We give out plenty of cards along the way. It's also a way to move brugs that have grown too large to ship.Works for everyone.

Tyler, TX(Zone 8a)

Ken they are talking about starting a flower and veg. here in town. I will try to find out more.
Good talking to you this morning. With over a 1000 started you need some place to sell.
Peace, Joan

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

yes you do need a place to sell them if you have over a thousand of them wow!!!
