I posted this in the electronic section, but got no reply. Can someone tell me what & how to clean a DVD RECORDER. I have a CD/DVD cleaner disk, but it says not to be used on a recorder? Any suggestions (2). I had a problem with a DVD movie and when I returned it to the video store they run it on a machine (under the counter) and shaved the surface. I took it home and it run fine. Can anyone tell me the name of this machine? I know I should ask the video store, but I didn;t want them to think that I would use it on their rented disk.
