I live in Gilmer and was dumb enough to do a co op for coleus and begonias. I have stuff coming in next week and could really need another person to help. I know I hav a lot of nerve, but I didn't know how else to find someone.
Only one person I know in Gilmer is coming and I'll probably have a friend too.
I know probably none of you ordered from the co op so I can't even offer free shipping. However, I've got another one coming in April and there are a few of those left over.
Come to think of it, there are a couple people that didn't pay for theirs and I'm going to have to find them a home. So if you would like to help and live close enough, I'm not afraid to beg!!!

I think Mamajack & Dawn have 1300 mums to ship out this week, and I've offered to help with that one. But maybe there's someone close by you who could help.

I knew It would be hard this late to find someone. I thought 2 or so would be enough till every one else who did co ops told me I was nuts!!

Well, considering the 800 cuttings I got from NC Farms this week... wow, you ARE going to need help. I couldn't get all of mine potted up in one day. Since then I've been having to shuffle them around because my trees aren't leafed out yet and I don't have enough shade! I'm afraid the lantana and angelonia are going to be a loss.
You got plugs, right? That will give you a little more time. Cuttings are supposed to be planted same day. And boy, are they tiny, and all those little bottom leaves have to be stripped off. Be glad you got plugs!

I should've known where Gilmer is. My whole family (both sides) is from Marshall & Longview. Don't know why I don't remember ever driving through there.
Gilmer is off the interstate about 20 miles, so if you were going that way, you just woudn't have. Longview is about 15 miles, taking the backroads and Marshall about 50 miles. I lived there for a while.
I did order plugs, so maybe I will survive. Course most of them are going right back out again, so I just have to let them breathe for a couple days and ship em back out.
I've got 16 trays next month, if this doesn't kill me, that is.
