Funny bluebird behavior!

We had just put up our bluebird boxes a few weeks ago, and though we saw a couple checking one of them out often, it seemed to take a long time for them to make up their minds! In the meantime, the male kept landing on the deck railing or the top of the patio table umbrella and sitting there, and then he would land on the door handle (which is horizontal, not a round knob) of the screen door and just sit there. I was able to get a real good look at him, because I could stand just inches away. He also lands on the screens of several of the windows and just hangs there! It's like he wants to check out our house, to compare it to his own (I think they finally moved in). It's been so interesting!!
