Here is a "Grand Slam" by Bob Carran. This is the 1st bloom I have ever seen from it. It is an well branched upright bush, Glossy green foliage, with an opening bloom like the pic. about 7 1/2". I have so many others going right now I would like your thoughts (from the hibiscus community) on it. To Grow for production or Keep as a collector plant.
Thanks,
Robert

"GRAND SLAM"
It's pretty. Does it bloom often?
Hi Amanda,
I started 3 from liners. Today it had 2 blooms open. It has 7 buds developing now and it looks like they will open stairsteped, not all at once. Great question though, this is another thing I am evaluating besides the bloom. I have the other 2 that I will pull from the GH and keep an eye on. Also, this is a plant that roots very well and grows excellent on its own roots. It will not need to be grafted. The first PIC has it's own foliage. The second PIC has donor foliage because I had a market to attend at 11am and brought it with me.
Thanks so much,
Robert
Oh yeah, it sounds like a keeper to me! (for the "to sell list") :)

me too :)
I also think it is very pretty, my kind of colors. It will be interesting to watch any color changes as the seasons change.
I like this one & if they all produce as many blooms as your 1st one is I think it'll be a great addition to one's collection! I agree - it should be on the "sell" (to us) list! :)
Oooooo, that stage is pretty too.
Love the latter stage....a knockout!
Oooh, nice!!! I think it's a keeper.
Wow, Robert, I really like this one! I think it should definitely be on the "sell to us (lol)" list ;-)
